<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia will host a meet and greet open to the public with its new assistant city manager and Housing and Neighborhood Services director Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 5 to 6 p.m. at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway in conference room 1A/1B.<br /><br />During the meet and greet, members of the public will have the opportunity to drop in anytime between 5 and 6 p.m. to speak with Assistant City Manager Matt Unrein and Housing and Neighborhood Services director Rebecca Thompson. <br /><br />Unrein began in his role as assistant city manager Feb. 19, and Rebecca Thompson will begin in her role as Housing and Programs Services director March 6. <br /><br />Unrein has worked in local government for more than 25 years, serving in various roles in Missouri, previously serving as the assistant city administrator and public works director in Festus. <br /><br />Thompson is a lawyer with seven years of experie
 nce as an assistant city counselor. Prior to serving in that role, she worked as assistant counsel for the Missouri Department of Transportation. <br /><br />Light refreshments will be provided.</div>
