<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - City of Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting an interested parties meeting to gain feedback on the construction of a new Community Welcome Center at Clary-Shy Community Park. The drop-in meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the MU Health Care Pavilion, 1769 W. Ash St. <br /><br />Parks and Recreation staff will be available to share the proposed plans, answer questions from the public and gather feedback from citizens. The Community Welcome Center will be operated in cooperation with the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture and will feature a commercial kitchen, resource library, event space and offices.  <br /><br />The project is funded by private donations made through the Missouri Development Finance Board, Boone County’s State and Local Fiscal Recovering Fund ARPA allocation, and the voter-approved 2021 Park Sales Tax. <br /><br />Anyone unable to attend the mee
