<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia is transitioning utility AutoPay to the Finance department’s new consolidated payment platform PayCoMo.<br /><br />As a result of this transition, existing automatic utility payment plans will be canceled starting with bills issued after March 1. Customers will need to create a PayCoMo profile and enroll in AutoPay through PayCoMo at least 3 full days before their March utility bill due date to continue with automatic payments.<br /><br />City treasurer Chelsea Miller said the new PayCoMo platform will offer some new and improved features. <br /><br />"PayCoMo offers website users the ability to enroll in AutoPay using a bank account or card. Additionally, PayCoMo registered users can opt-in for email reminders," Miller said. <br /><br />Enrolling in AutoPay through PayCoMo profile for connected accounts will automatically discontinue existing Utility AutoPay pl
 an. Once enrolled, customers can stop, manage their AutoPay payment method or make one-time payments through PayCoMo at any time. <br /><br />Customers impacted by this change have already been sent email notifications about the transition and instructions for enrollment. Additionally, a reminder letter will be sent to customers the last week of February.<br /><br />As always, there is no convenience or service fee assessed for utility payments, regardless of which payment method you choose. Available payment methods are listed at CoMo.gov/utilities/customer-service-billing/. <br /><br />The City of Columbia understands the convenience that AutoPay provides and wants to ensure a smooth transition. Customers that are experiencing issues with enrollment can contact Utility Customer Service at UCS@CoMo.gov or call our customer service representatives at 573.874.7380. Additionally, City Hall cashier staff are available to assist customers with enrollment, or enrollment questions.
