<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Around 8:31 p.m. on Feb. 26, Columbia Police responded to a domestic disturbance involving a weapon in the 3600 block of Brown Station Road. Officers were informed by dispatch that the suspect had discharged a firearm. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers successfully made contact with the suspect, identified as Carra Brooks, 27 years old, of Columbia. Brooks was arrested for first-degree domestic assault, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
