<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate fatality collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian on I-70 West</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 1 p.m. on March 20, Columbia Police and Columbia Fire responded to a report of a person lying in the median on I-70 near mile marker 131.5.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It was determined that Ezekiel Rachow, 30, of Columbia, had died apparently after being struck by a sedan. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The incident is believed to be connected to a prior traffic crash in the area that was reported at approximately 1 a.m. on March 20. Columbia Police and Columbia Fire both responded to the crash. The driver of a 2016 gray Ford Fusion called police and stated that they had hit an unknown object. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation is ongoing at this time. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
