<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Lisa Meyer will be sworn in as the new Ward 2 City Council member and Betsy Peters will be sworn in as the Ward 6 City Council member during a special Council meeting April 11. The meeting will be in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, beginning at 5 p.m.<br /><br />Current Ward 2 Council Member Rachel Proffitt will be recognized for her service, as will former Ward 1 Council Member Nick Knoth.<br /><br />An agenda for the special meeting can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://gocolumbiamo.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1189592&GUID=C8F7E827-704F-454A-A700-6CB109C446A6">CoMo.gov</a>. <br /><br />A reception will be held directly following the special meeting in Conference Rooms 1A/1B of City Hall. Members of the public are invited to attend both the special meeting and the reception. <br /><br />The special meeting will be live-streamed on CoMo.gov/b
