<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police have arrested Demetrice Tatum, 38, of Columbia, after he attacked a victim with a knife in the 400 block of Fifth Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. on April 8. Tatum was arrested for first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.</span></p>
<p>Officers responded to the scene after multiple calls from members of the public and discovered one adult male with stab wounds. They provided medical attention until EMS arrived. The victim, identified as Kejuan Allen, 22, of Columbia, died at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.</p>
<p>This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</p>
