<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility has scheduled a second interested parties meeting to discuss a proposed stormwater management project for the Capri Estates neighborhood. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 8 at the end of the North Eldorado Court cul-de-sac.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the meeting, citizens will be able to review preliminary plans, ask questions, make comments, and complete a public comment form.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The project scope has expanded since the first interested parties meeting to include work on the east side of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2707 Smiley Lane. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This proposed project would build a stormwater system that manages runoff from Riviera Drive to the east side of Eldorado Court, reducing the risk of flooding in the neighborhood. In addition, the project will extend the storm drain system on the west side of Langham Drive to reduce yard flooding and make the entrance to the system safer, along with some practices to reduce runoff. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Public comments will be accepted through May 22 at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://beheard.como.gov/capris-estates-stormwater-management"><span style="font-weight: 400;">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
