<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate fatality moped and vehicle collision on Range Line Street, May 13</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 9 p.m. on May 13, Columbia Police responded to a collision on Range Line Street (Missouri Highway 763) north of the Blue Ridge Road intersection involving a Yada moped and a black 2011 Ford Escape. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Police determined the moped was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Range Line Street when it collided with the Escape,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> which was traveling northbound. The driver of the moped, identified as Terry L. Walker, 64, of Columbia, was thrown from the vehicle. After the crash, witnesses observed two unidentified passengers running west from the Escape.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. Walker died of injuries sustained during the crash. Next of kin has been notified. The driver of the Escape sustained moderate injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
