<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <em>The previous press release about lane closures on South Rolling Hills Road can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=8794">CoMo.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=8794</a>.</em><br /><br />On Tuesday, May 28, weather permitting, KLS Crete, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will begin road work on South Rolling Hills Road from the roundabout at State Highway WW (East Broadway) to East Richland Road. The work had previously been planned to begin May 20, but has been delayed by the possibility of rain.  <br /><br />As a reminder, the project will involve slab jacking work, where a mixture of cement, sand and other additives is injected underneath sunken concrete slabs to raise them. KLS Crete crews will address a total of six sunken spots on South Rolling Hills Road during this operation.<br /><br />We
 ather permitting, the work is estimated to take three days to complete. Crews plan to begin May 28 and will continue working on days with favorable weather conditions until the project is finished.<br /><br />The attached pictures highlight two of the six areas of South Rolling Hills Road scheduled for repair. Crews have marked the sections needing attention with white lines.<br /><br />The street will remain open with lane closures. One lane will stay open at all times with signs and flaggers present to alternate traffic through the closure area. Drivers should use caution, reduce speed and follow directions from flaggers when near the work area. Please plan ahead now to consider alternate routes and avoid delays.</div>
