<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Update: Columbia Police arrest suspect for kidnapping and carjacking on Conley Road</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police arrested Whitney Nevels-McKee, 35, of Columbia, on charges related to the May 24 incident in the 400 block of Conley Road.</span></p>
<p>Nevels-McKee was arrested for second-degree kidnapping, three counts of vehicle hijacking, two counts of second-degree assault, three counts of fourth-degree assault, first-degree terrorist threat, stealing a firearm, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, armed criminal action and misdemeanor stealing.</p>
<p>Police initially responded to shots fired at 5:20 p.m. and then took Nevels-McKee into custody at the scene. There were two victims with no reported injuries. </p>
<p>This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</p>
