<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - City of Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting two interested parties meetings to gain feedback on improvements at Twin Lakes Recreation Area, 2500 Chapel Hill Road. The drop-in meetings will both be held at the Twin Lakes Dog Park: Wednesday, June 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. In the event of rain, the meetings will be moved to the large shelter at the same location.<br /><br />Proposed improvements include dog park enhancements, replacement of the existing playground, parking lot asphalt repairs, repurposing Little Mates Cove aquatic facility and shelter renovations.  <br /><br />Parks and Recreation staff will be available to share the proposed plans, answer questions from the public and gather feedback from citizens.   <br /><br />The project is funded by the voter-approved 2021 Park Sales Tax.<br /><br />Anyone unable to attend the meeting
