<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning traffic calming on Rollins Road between South Fairview Road and Stadium Boulevard. This area has been identified by a traffic study as having vehicles operating at speeds higher than desirable. This meeting will be held Monday, July 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Conference Room 1A of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />The purpose of this meeting is to review potential traffic calming solutions for Rollins Road as well as to:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Define and prioritize problems</li>
<li>Identify desired outcomes</li>
<li>Provide an overview of the Public Works Neighborhood Traffic Management Program</li>
</ul>
At the meeting, information and diagrams will be available for public review and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. The website for this traffic calming project can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://beheard.como.gov/rollins-road-traffic-calming">BeHeard.CoMo.gov/Rollins-Road-traffic-calming</a>. Public comments will be accepted at the meeting and can be left on the BeHeard webpage through July 22. Comments will be considered as the designs are developed.<br /><br />Residents can also fill out the comment form attached to this press release and email it to PubW@CoMo.gov or mail it to Columbia Public Works, 701 E.
