<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 4:55 p.m. on July 7, Columbia police officers detained two juveniles in connection to shots fired on Trimble Road.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">One juvenile was detained for first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and armed criminal action.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The second juvenile was detained for juvenile delinquency and tampering with physical evidence (felony).</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Both juveniles were referred to the Boone County Juvenile Office.</span><span style="font-w
eight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 6:55 p.m. on July 6, Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2600 block of Trimble Road. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon their arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who stated shots had been fired. No injuries or property damage were reported in this incident.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation.
