<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Go COMO orange route detour July 10-11 due to closure of Business Loop 70 East</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning Wednesday, July 10, at 6 a.m., the Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing Business Loop 70 East between Edison Street and Bowling Street for the removal of the railroad tracks. Due to the road closure, the Go COMO orange route bus will be unable to access the Ashley Street Center bus stop at 1509 Ashley St.<br /><br />A temporary bus stop will be used during the road closure, located at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Stone Street. Please refer to the map, which shows both the detour route and the location of the temporary stop.<br /><br />For the detour, the orange route bus will travel east on Business Loop 70 East, turn left on Edison Street, turn left on Lakeview Avenue, turn left on Fay Street and finally turn right onto the Business Loop, where it will return to its normal route.<br /><br />According to MoDOT, the Business Loop road closure is expected to last from 
 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 11, weather permitting. Even if MoDOT completes the work earlier than expected July 11, Go COMO plans to use the orange route detour for the entire service day both July 10 and 11.<br /><br />If MoDOT changes their plans, updates will be provided to Go COMO riders through the DoubleMap app and on Go COMO social media. Additionally, a text alert will be sent through the <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://Alerts.CoMo.gov">Alerts.CoMo.gov</a> system. Riders are encouraged to visit <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://Alerts.CoMo.gov">Alerts.CoMo.gov</a> to sign up for high-priority updates to regular bus service in response to traffic, staffing disruptions and other events.<br /><br />Drivers, please use extra caution near the closure area. Go COMO thanks its riders for their understanding and patience.</div>
