<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police arrested Damiere French, 18, of St. Peters, Mo., for an armed robbery that occurred July 13 in the 2100 block of West Broadway.</span></p>
<p>French was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, felony resisting arrest, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. </p>
<p>At approximately 11:45 a.m. on July 13, Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery in the 2100 block of West Broadway.</p>
<p>The adult male victim told police officers that as he was attempting to leave a parking lot in his vehicle, two adult males entered his vehicle, brandished a weapon and demanded his phone and keys. The two males then exited the vehicle. </p>
<p>As the victim was providing a description of the suspects to officers at the scene, the victim spotted French, and the officers apprehended him after a short pursuit. </p>
<p>Police have determined that there are two additional suspects in the incident who are not in custody.  </p>
<p>This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</p>
