<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 11:45 a.m. on July 13, Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery in the 2100 block of West Broadway.</span></p>
<p>The adult male victim told police officers that as he was attempting to leave a parking lot in his vehicle, two adult males entered his vehicle, brandished a weapon and demanded his phone and keys. The two males then exited the vehicle. </p>
<p>As the victim was providing a description of the suspects to officers at the scene, the victim spotted one of the suspects, and the officers apprehended him after a short pursuit. Officers placed the suspect in custody. </p>
<p>This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</p>
