<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">City Manager's budget message for fiscal year 2025 scheduled for July 25</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia City Manager De'Carlon Seewood will deliver the annual budget message for the fiscal year 2025 at noon Thursday, July 25 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed budget, which will cover the time period of Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The proposed budget will be introduced at a July 29 budget work session. The work session will be in the Council Chambers beginning at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Community members will have the opportunity to make public comments at three City Council meetings before the budget is adopted:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Council will vote on the proposed budget at the Monday, Sept. 16 meeting. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Copies of the City Manager's proposed budget will be available to view after 1 p.m. Monday, July 29 at the first floor lobby desk in City Hall. The proposed budget will also be posted on </span><a href="https://www.como.gov/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Council meetings and the budget message will be broadcast live on the City Channel, which can be viewed on Mediacom 80, Charter Spectrum 992 and CenturyLink 96. The meetings and budget message will also be live streamed with the link posted at </span><a href="https://www.como.gov/broadcasts/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">CoMo.gov/broadcasts</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></div>
