<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Utilities department has scheduled an interested parties meeting to discuss a proposed improvement to the Bolstad substation to accommodate the Boone Stephens Solar interconnection. The meeting is scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in Conference Room 1C at City Hall, 701. E Broadway.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The utility is proposing to add one circuit breaker and supporting infrastructure to accommodate a generator interconnection with the Boone Stephens Solar Field. The solar field is located north of Columbia off Route B with the Bolstad substation in northeast Columbia on Peabody Road. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These proposed improvements are part of the solar field being constructed by Enel North America Inc., in which an agreement was signed between the City, Enel North America Inc., Midcontinent Independent System Operator and authorized by council bill B74-24. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to review the preliminary concepts, ask questions, make comments and complete a public comment form. </span></p>
