<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America) has announced that Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) has been re-accredited as a home visiting service provider to pregnant families and families with young children using the Healthy Families America (HFA) model. The re-accreditation process involved examining PHHS’s operations, processes and the quality of services by home visitors. <br /><br />"We are delighted to be re-accredited by PCA. It shows how much hard work and dedication our social services staff puts into their jobs and to the families they help," said Stephanie Browning, director of PHHS.<br /><br />As Boone County’s longest-standing home-visiting provider, PHHS has been providing high-quality home-visiting services for over 60 years. Families are supported by a home visitor who can assist with family development, screenings and case managemen
 t.<br /><br />"We commend Columbia/Boone County PHHS for opening itself up to such an intensive review process," said Kathleen Strader, national director of HFA. "We believe that all families and all communities deserve access to quality home visiting services."</div>
