<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of  East Broadway, Aug. 3</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 2:47 a.m. on Aug. 3, Columbia police responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of East Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On arrival, officers spoke with two adult male victims, who reported being shot at. Through investigation, officers identified Charlie Sneed, 41, of Colorado as the suspect. Sneed was arrested for first-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Both evidence of shots being fired and the firearm were recovered at the scene. There have been no reports of injuries at this time. It is believed this was a targeted event; therefore, there is no outstanding threat to the wider public.</span></p>
