<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 4, Columbia police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of I-70 and Highway 63.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On arrival, officers spoke to one adult female who stated she and a juvenile had been shot at while traveling on I-70. Witnesses described the suspect as a young adult Black male with short afro-style hair, in a black SUV.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The adult female sustained minor injuries and was provided medical treatment at the scene. The juvenile was not injured.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. As always, we’re thankful to you for sharing what you know.</span></p>
