<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Sewer Utility has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss a proposed sewer improvement project in the area near Clear Creek and East Gans Road. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, in the Conference Room at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 4900 W. Gillespie Bridge Road.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Sewer Utility is proposing to update the pump station near Clear Creek and East Gans Road. Crews would also replace a portion of the force main pipe and some air valves in the sewer main that runs from the Veterans United campus to the pump station.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The project will improve operations and reduce the likelihood of pipe failures.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the meeting, stakeholders will have the opportunity to review preliminary concepts, ask questions, make comments and complete a public comment form.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Public comments will also be accepted online at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://beheard.como.gov/clear-creek-pump-station-pipe-replacement"><span style="font-weight: 400;">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> through Aug. 28.</span></p>
