<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia’s community survey has been mailed to a random sample of households in the community to ask for feedback on a wide range of City services and issues. The survey ensures that the City’s priorities are in step with the needs of Columbia residents.<br /><br />"The past year for Columbia has been a year of accomplishments. We have made advancements in many areas that continue to address the community issues important to Columbians," said City Manager De’Carlon Seewood. "This progress could not be possible without the support and participation of each of you, our residents. Together, we will continue to move our community forward."<br /><br />The surveys will include postage-paid return envelopes, and individual responses will remain confidential. The return address on the envelope will be for ETC Institute, the consultant that has conducted Col
 umbia’s community surveys since 2003.<br />In addition to this feedback, ETC Institute’s team of researchers will provide the City with comparative data from other local governments across the country.<br /><br />"Thank you in advance for your help in shaping the future of Columbia. We encourage you to continue engaging with us as we advance programs, projects and initiatives that make Columbia the best place for everyone to live, work, learn and play," said Mayor Barbara Buffaloe.<br /><br />Those outside of the random sample of households are invited to take the public survey. To assure statistical integrity of the random sample survey, these results will be recorded separately and shared with City leadership.<br /><br />ETC Institute will share the results with the City Council in a public work session in the future.</div>
