<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 8:13 a.m. on Aug. 28, Columbia police responded to a larceny in the 1100 block of North Providence Road. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The female victim told officers that a male forcibly stole her bicycle. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect and her bicycle. Officers located the suspect, identified as Benjamin Bowman, a short time later. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bowman, 48, of Columbia, was arrested on charges of felony stealing, felony possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477.
