<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Flu vaccines now available at Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) is now administering flu vaccinations through school-based flu clinics, community outreach clinics around Boone County and appointments at the PHHS clinic. <br /><br />The flu vaccine will be available to all residents aged six months and older. PHHS will provide flu vaccinations at no cost to those between six months and 18 years old. <br /><br />The vaccine cost for residents aged 18 and older will vary depending on insurance coverage. The PHHS clinic accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, checks and can bill various insurance plans through a system known as VaxCare. <br /><br />A list of the insurance providers accepted through the VaxCare billing system can be found at CoMo.gov/Health/Clinical-Services. For self-pay residents, the cost of the vaccine is $25. Receipts will be available upon request. A high-dose flu shot is available
specifically for those 65 and older.<br /><br />To schedule an appointment in the PHHS clinic, 1005 W. Worley St., please call 573.874.7249. <br /><br />Several rural community clinics will also occur throughout Boone County during October and November. Only cash and checks will be accepted at any outreach location.<br /><br />The dates and locations are as follows:<br /><br />

<li>Oct. 3, 3:30-6 p.m. at Centralia Intermediate School, 550 W. Lakeview Ave., Centralia</li>
<li>Oct. 10, 3:30-6 p.m. at Southern Boone County Primary School, 803 Henry Clay Blvd., Ashland</li>
<li>Oct. 17, 4:15-6:30 p.m. at Hallsville High School, 421 MO-124 E., Hallsville</li>
<li>Oct. 24, 3:30-6 p.m. at Sturgeon Youth Center, 403 W. McDowell St., Sturgeon</li>
<li>Nov. 7, 3:30-6 p.m. at Community Room of the Harrisburg School District Central Office, 1000 S. Harris St., Harrisburg</li>
