<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 3:10 p.m. Oct. 1, Columbia Police responded to an attempted robbery in the 100 block of East Business Loop 70. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Witnesses said a man attempted to steal money from a business. An employee was assaulted, but no weapons were involved.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Javon Robinson, 23, of Columbia was arrested at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East Business Loop 70 on charges of third-degree assault, first-degree harassment, felony stealing and first-degree trespassing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward. </span></p>
