<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia police detained a second juvenile on Oct. 7 in connection with the shots fired on Oct. 3. The juvenile was detained on charges of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Additional suspects remain outstanding.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 3, Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Godas Drive and Valley Creek Lane.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles with damage consistent with a collision and damage to a nearby residence due to gunfire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the investigation, officers identified the initial juvenile suspect. This juvenile was detained on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree assault and leaving the scene of an accident. </span></p>
