<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Update: Columbia Police arrest two more suspects in connection to shots fired in the area of Godas Drive and Valley Creek Lane, Oct. 3</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police Department arrested Amare Carter, 18, of Columbia, on Oct. 8. in connection to shots fired on Oct. 3. Carter was arrested on charges of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police also arrested Derek Reynold, 18, of Columbia, on Oct. 7 in relation to the same shots fired incident in connection to shots fired on Oct. 3. Reynolds was arrested on charges of first-degree assault.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department previously detained two juveniles in connection to this investigation. At this time there are no remaining suspects.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 3, Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Godas Drive and Valley Creek Lane.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles with damage consistent with a collision and damage to a nearby residence due to gunfire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477.
