<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Update: Columbia Police arrest suspects in connection to shots heard in the 1900 Block of Boyd Lane, Oct. 10</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">With the assistance of the Springfield Police Department, Demetrius Mays Jr., 22, of Columbia, was arrested on Oct. 11 in Springfield MO in connection to shots heard Oct. 10. Mays was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree murder.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police previously arrested Byron Sampson, 20, of St. Louis Oct. 10 in relation to shots heard Oct. 10. Sampson was arrested on charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree tampering and stealing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department is actively searching for Julius Mosby, 18, of Columbia. Mosby is wanted on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree murder. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Community members should not approach Mosby as he is considered armed and dangerous.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 8:11 a.m. on Oct. 10, Columbia Police responded to a report of shots heard in the 1900 block of Boyd Lane.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle had crashed into a wooded area. An unconscious adult male, later identified as Traquan Reed, 18, of Columbia, was struck by the vehicle and found at the scene. Officers requested medical assistance, and Reed was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Next of kin have been notified.</span></p>
