<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of Boyd Lane, Oct. 13</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 2:59 a.m. on Oct. 13, Columbia Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of Boyd Lane.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers observed a stolen vehicle fleeing the area.  Officers pursued the vehicle to the dead end of Waterfront Drive, where five suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot.  </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Evidence of gunfire was recovered at the original location.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police located Z'Kardia Williams, 19, of Columbia, and a juvenile. Both individuals were arrested on charges of second-degree tampering and resisting arrest.  Additional suspects are still outstanding at this time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After the suspects abandoned the vehicle, it was left in drive, causing it to roll into a nearby lake at the dead end of Waterfront Drive North. The Boone County Fire Protection District and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Dive Team responded to assist with the removal of the vehicle from the lake. The Columbia Police Department extends its gratitude to both agencies for their assistance.</span></p>
