<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 20, Columbia Police responded to shots fired in the 3900 block of Clark Lane. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers located an adult male with gunshot injuries. Orrion Moody, 28, of Columbia was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died Oct. 23 of injuries sustained in the shooting. Next of kin have been notified. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tavion Johnson, 19, of Columbia was arrested Oct. 22 on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Columbia Police detectives are working with the Boone County prosecutor’s office to amend the charges due to Moody’s death. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
