<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Top floors of Fifth and Walnut and Short Street Parking Garages closed to parking, Nov. 4-March 24</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, the top floors of the Fifth and Walnut Parking Garage, 500 E. Walnut Street, and the Short Street Parking Garage, 1110 E. Walnut St., will be closed to all vehicular traffic and parking. <br /><br />Each year, the City of Columbia closes these top levels as part of annual winter operations. Keeping the top floors clear of vehicles helps Parking Utility staff during snow events. Chains and cones will be in place to prevent vehicle access. <br /><br />Parking Utility staff has confirmed that lower levels will provide sufficient spaces for both hourly and permit customers.<br /><br />The top floors are scheduled to reopen for parking on Monday, March 24, 2025, weather permitting.<br /><br />Parking Utility thanks all patrons for their cooperation during this time.</div>
