<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 10 a.m. Nov. 2, Columbia Police responded to an assault and shots heard in the 3900 block of Forum Boulevard. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the initial investigation, it was discovered that an argument had occurred between two adult men. One of the men was assaulted and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Gunfire was heard but no injuries were reported from the gunfire. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The assault suspect left the scene. Officers are actively working to identify and apprehend the suspect. Evidence indicates this was a targeted incident, and there is no known threat to the wider public.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for UP TO a $2,500 cash reward. </span></p>
