<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Elevator maintenance updates for Eighth and Walnut Plaza Parking Garage</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - AllRise Elevator Company Inc., contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, are continuing major maintenance work on the elevators at Eighth and Walnut Plaza Parking Garage, 17 N. Eighth St.<br /><br />Effective Nov. 13, maintenance work on the southeast elevator is completed and the new elevator cab is operational. Crews have now taken the southwest elevator out of service for replacement.<br /><br />The initial timeline projected both elevators would be fully restored by the end of December. However, due to considerations related to the age of these elevator systems and crew availability during the holiday season, the completion date has been adjusted to mid-January.<br /><br />We thank patrons for their patience and understanding as this maintenance work is completed.<br /><br />Original press release: <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/vi
