<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Update: Moped driver dies of injuries related to crash on West Broadway</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The driver of a moped who was involved in a crash with a vehicle on West Broadway has died of injuries related to the crash. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">David Porter, 60, of Columbia died Nov. 19 at a local hospital. Next of kin have been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 2 p.m. Nov. 7, Columbia Police responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a moped on West Broadway near Heather Lane. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The initial investigation showed that a moped ridden by a 60-year-old man from Columbia was traveling westbound on West Broadway. The moped crossed into the passing lane and collided with a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old woman of Columbia. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Porter </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">was ejected from the moped and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.</span></p>
