<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The victim of an assault from Nov. 15 on Primrose Drive has died of injuries related to the incident. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Antonio Davis, 56, of Columbia died Nov. 22. Next of kin have been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15, Columbia Police responded to an assault in the 2800 block of Primrose Drive. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers found Davis with life-threatening injuries. Davis was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15, Columbia Police arrested two suspects during a traffic stop. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Alexander Aklan, 28, of Columbia was arrested for first-degree assault, armed criminal action, first-degree trafficking, and unlawful use of a weapon. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Felicia Hay, 33, of Columbia was arrested for first-degree assault. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Following the death of Davis, amended charges of second-degree murder against Aklan and Hay have been submitted to the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
