<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS), Spectrum Healthcare will host a SAVE A LIFE: naloxone education and distribution event on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 1123 Wilkes Blvd., Columbia, MO. Pizza and naloxone will be available to attendees at no cost.<br /><br />Following the event, PHHS staff will be present to provide information and brief training for individuals who cannot be at the formal presentation. Both the formal and informal training will include recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose and an explanation of how to use and access naloxone nasal spray.<br /><br />SAVE A LIFE is a series of monthly, free-to-the-public events the Coalition offers that feature education and conversation around how members in the community can help to prevent opioid overdose deaths through the use
