<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Dec. 1, 2024, the Columbia Police Department relaunched its online reporting tool. This enhanced system allows the public to report non-emergency incidents including minor thefts, vandalism and lost property on the City of Columbia’s website at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://p2c.como.gov"><span style="font-weight: 400;">p2c.CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The online portal offers citizens a convenient option to report certain crimes quickly and efficiently. However, citizens can choose to report incidents by speaking directly with an officer. Online reports are entered into the department's records management system, where they are accessible for crime data analysis and investigative leads.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"This is a great way to improve our service to the community," said Acting Lieutenant Derek Moore. "This system will also help us capture more accurate data on crimes that may go unreported."</span></p>
