<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Sewer Utility has scheduled an interested parties meeting to discuss the proposed Henderson Branch Sewer Extension to the Midway area. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The meeting is set for 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in Conference Room 1A/1B at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Sewer Utility has preliminary concepts for the construction of sanitary sewers near the area of N. Highway UU, W. Sugar Creek Drive, and W. Van Horn Tavern Road.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If approved, crews would construct approximately 8,600 linear feet of sewer pipe that would be available for adjacent properties to connect to the City’s public sanitary sewer. The project would allow for the removal of two private treatment facilities that are discharging into Henderson Branch and Perche Creek.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and Sewer Utility staff will be present to answer questions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Questions and comments will also be accepted online at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://beheard.como.gov/henderson-branch-sewer-extension"><span style="font-weight: 400;">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> through Jan. 31.</span></p>
