<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Feb. 19 at approximately 1 a.m., Columbia Police responded to shots fired in the 3200 block of Clark Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female who had sustained a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was identified as Kaidynce Payne, 18, of Columbia. Next of kin have been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the course of the investigation, officers arrested Terell Anthony Fields, 19, of Columbia, on charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. This is an active and ongoing investigation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information anonymously, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to CrimeStoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.</span></p>
