<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police arrest man for shots fired on Ninth Street, March 30</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At about 1:50 a.m. March 30, Columbia Police officers were on patrol in the area of Ninth Street and Walnut Street when they witnessed a man firing a weapon. The man was taken into custody and then to a local hospital for minor injuries related to a vehicle crash that had occurred prior to the shots fired. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no injuries reported that were related to the shots fired. Officers located property damage to a building in the 200 block of North Ninth Street. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police arrested Steven Harris, 45, of Columbia, on charges of stealing, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and armed criminal action.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police thank the Ashland Police Department, the University of Missouri Police Department, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their assistance. </span></p>
