<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - At its annual Awards Banquet April 1, Job Point has named the City of Columbia Public Works Street division its 2025 Employer of the Year. <br /><br />Job Point provides education, training and employment assistance to help individuals enter the workforce, partnering with local organizations like the Street division to create job opportunities.<br /><br />The Street division has collaborated with Job Point for many years, particularly through the <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.jobpoint.org/highway-heavy-construction/">Highway Maintenance & Repair program</a>, which prepares students for careers in road maintenance and infrastructure work. Through internships, job trials and full-time employment, the division has helped program participants gain real-world experience and advance their careers.<br /><br />"The Street division values its collaboration with Job Point and the o
