<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Youth Advisory Council (YAC) will host its second annual Youth Summit for residents to learn about opportunities for youth involvement in their community and government. The summit will be April 12 from 1-3 p.m. at the Armory Sports and Recreation Center, 701 E. Ash St. <br /><br />Attendees can learn about youth involvement in the community, enjoy youth performances and hear from City staff. There will also be booths with information on what the YAC's role is, how they play an important role in the community and with Council members, and how their voices can make an impact on various issues that may impact the youth of Columbia.<br /><br />There will also be information about how youth can get involved in the community, volunteer opportunities and current job opportunities.<br /><br />Refreshments will be provided including pizza, beverages and snacks. There will also be swag
