<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The parking lot at Grindstone Nature Area, 2011 Old Hwy. 63, will be temporarily closed starting April 9 at 11 p.m. The closure is expected to last only two days; the lot should reopen by 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12. <br /> <br />Park users are encouraged to use the parking lot at Capen Park, 1600 Capen Park Drive. Additional parking is also available at University Bookstore Distribution at 1400 Rock Quarry Road. <br /> <br /> The closure is necessary for a contractor with the City of Columbia to complete parking lot renovations including asphalt overlay and restriping. <br /> <br /> For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 573.874.7460.</div>
