<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At about midnight April 9, Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery that occurred in the 1400 block of Range Line Street.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After officers arrived at the scene, the victim said that as he walked toward his vehicle after exiting a business he was confronted by a man who brandished a weapon at him and demanded money.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through their investigation, police detectives identified Gerion Young, 26, of Columbia, as the suspect in the incident. Young was arrested April 15 by police on charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. </span></p>
