<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia will host a special City Council meeting 5 p.m. April 17 in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, for incoming City Council representatives to be sworn in to their respective positions. <br /><br />Barbara Buffaloe will be sworn in as Columbia city mayor, council member-at-large, Jacque Sample will be sworn in as Ward 3 council member and Nick Foster will be sworn in as Ward 4 council member. <br /><br />Current Ward 3 Council Member Roy Lovelady will be recognized for his service. <br /><br />An agenda for the special meeting can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/">CoMo.gov</a>.<br /><br />A reception will be held directly following the special meeting in Conference Rooms 1A/1B of City Hall. Members of the public are invited to attend both the special meeting and the reception.<br /><br />The special meeting will b
