<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>At about 8 p.m. May 9, Columbia police responded to a report of shots fired in the 900 block of Moss Street.</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers located a 32-year-old victim with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and rendered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division assisted in the investigation, including securing a search warrant at the crime scene where evidence was found.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers arrested Kieran Piersee, 18, of Columbia, on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. To provide information without leaving your name or number, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.8477. If you provide information to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. </span></p>
