<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia is hosting a series of informal block parties throughout June and July. The events will feature food, music and games. The events are intended to provide an informal way for community members to connect with City staff and learn more about City services.<br /><br />At the City’s inaugural Community Summit in March, attendees gave feedback on how they would like to engage with City staff and Council members. Many expressed that they would like to see City leaders in their neighborhoods, suggesting block parties as an approachable way to interact and learn from one another. <br /><br />All parties will be from 5-7 p.m. <br />
