<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Pavement preservation treatments scheduled for 39 Columbia streets beginning June 23</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 23, CAM LLC, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, is scheduled to begin applying Reclamite, an asphalt rejuvenating treatment, to 39 residential streets.<br /><br />Reclamite is a petroleum-based product designed to restore essential oils lost from asphalt over time due to oxidation caused by sunlight, water and traffic wear. This treatment helps extend the life of a roadway by sealing the surface, improving flexibility and preventing water from penetrating into the pavement structure - a major cause of deterioration such as cracking and potholes.<br /><br />Crews plan to continue this work weekdays through June and July until all streets on the list have been treated, weather permitting.<br /><br /><strong>Streets scheduled to receive Reclamite:</strong><br /><br />

Orange "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance along all streets scheduled for treatment.
